Location: Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Library, San Jose State University

A continuation of the Ukrainian children’s drawing exhibit, that was held at Loyola Marymount University, in San Jose at the DiNapoli Gallery of the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Library. The drawings address the lived experiences and grief of the children, but also their hope for themselves and their loved ones.

The library exhibition featuring war drawings of Ukrainian children from Cherkasy region, Central Ukraine will feature in the Loyola Marymount University (LMU) library, from January 8-February 16, 2024. 

The exhibition is free and open to the public.

This event is organized in partnership with LMU Library, LMU Department of Theology and Department of Marital and Family Therapy through Art.

The Center celebrated Ukrainian Day at the Loyola Marymount University Library with the presentation “Children at War” by Cyril Hovorun and a film screening of “Fort Kharkiv” by director Volodymyr Sydko.
