About the Portal<\/h2>\n

Community Engagement Portal: Focus Ukraine<\/span><\/i> documents the efforts of iSchool faculty, students and their partners in supporting Ukrainian librarians.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Our work began in 2022, responding to the full scale invasion on Ukraine. Our initiatives include fundraising, book and technology donations, awareness raising and dissemination of information about the experiences of Ukrainians during wartime via<\/span> symposia<\/span><\/span><\/a>, publishing<\/span><\/span><\/a>, working with the<\/span> press<\/span><\/a><\/span>, and<\/span> thematic programming<\/span><\/span><\/a>, including our traveling exhibit of Ukrainian children’s art and poetry about the war. We also raise awareness about the significance of public libraries during the war.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

We welcome partnerships and projects for our Ukrainian colleagues.\u00a0<\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
