Microsoft is working on making a blockchain service meant to help customers and partners create private consortium Ethereum networks. The company would like to build on top of having blockchain as a service with Enterprise Smart Contracts provided by Azure’s public cloud. The platform will be able to handle tasks such as runtime environment services and a message-based programming interface. A link to a more technical paper from Microsoft on the subject is provided.
