Through contributions by IBM and Digital Asset, Hyperledger Fabric was developed as a blockchain framework for other applications, which would allow for secure channels for sharing confidential information, a peer-to-peer ordering service, endorsement policies for transactions, support for database queries, and a way to connect to your favored membership service provider.
